2CJC // Devotional for 2/5/10 "Doubtless Saints"

Devotional: Psalms 85:8 “I will hear what GOD the LORD will speak: for HE will speak peace unto HIS people, and to HIS saints: but let them not turn again to folly.”

If we latch onto any earthly routine or activity where our walk is questionable, where another brother or sister who sees us might stumble because of our worldly choices, then we are not saints who love and follow CHRIST without doubt. Nay, rather we are “deceived saints”. There is no middle ground. Only “Higher” and “Most Holy”! Let us pursue these lofty levels as a Body united in truth and in spirit – solely for CHRIST! Amen and amen!

The Doubtless Saint

Doubtless saints have gone before us with more zeal while

countless souls have served HIM well in shorter times.

By not compromising Faith to bless the Flesh, so they endured

while so many stepped away from Peace – divine.

Indeed, some ran and yet are others running still while

those faithful now call out for their return.

For they know that sinful paths lead to destruction where HIS wrath

will end their swift retreat from Heaven’s WORD.

Therefore, torn are we who weep in both directions for

those “once discovered” souls returning - “Lost”.

Having tasted of HIS goodness yet who long for Sin’s embrace

to keep warm their worldly dreams with errant thoughts.

Beloved! Have I not spoken to you of this folly…

where a servant falls because they choose such ways?

If my clarity has lacked, so shouts this page for all to hear!

Yea, follow CHRIST alone…as did each “Doubtless Saint”!

As HIServant in your service,
